Presentation

The symposium “40 years of gas phase laser spectroscopy: an ongoing story” is a scientific day focused on the study of the structure and dynamics of isolated molecular structures, probed by laser. This field of research, which dates back more than 40 years, has gradually turned towards the study of increasingly complex molecules and supramolecular objects, including biological systems. In the context of the end of the ANR-PRC TUNIFOLDS project and the upcoming retirement of its coordinator, Michel Mons, this symposium will bring together his main collaborators and other world leaders in laser spectroscopy, and thus present a overview of the state of the art in the field.

This scientific day will take place in the Pierre Lehmann auditorium (Paris-Saclay University, Orsay campus, Building 200) from 8:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., then will be followed by a buffet dinner at the restaurant Les Cèdres (Paris-Saclay University, Orsay campus, Building 406) from 7 p.m.

Deadline

Inscription without charge but mandatory, if possible before July 15th, and in anycase before Wednesday August 17th
